About AJ and Jordan Harbinger
The Art of Charm was founded by Jordan Harbinger and AJ Harbinger. These two noticed that many people, especially men, lacked the necessary social skills to succeed in personal and business relationships. Since AJ and Jordan seemed innately savvy in this area, they decided to coach others on how to use social skills to succeed in relationships of all kinds.
Jordan Harbinger’s first career choice was law. With his ability to use social skills, he persuaded the doors of the University of Michigan Law School to open up and admit him. He succeeded in law school and went on to a job in a top-tier law firm on Wall Street.
However, it was in college that Jordan had his interest in social dynamics piqued. Social dynamics is the study of how a society interacts within a culture. It deals with outer and inner changes. The proper use of social skills can make interactions successful.
AJ is committed to helping men and women interact more effectively because he has experienced first hand what happens when an interaction becomes negative. AJ’s parents divorced because of incompatibility issues. However, AJ has taken that negative experience and turned into a positive career path. He coaches men and women to develop stronger interactive communication that leads to better and stronger marriages.
In 2004, AJ Harbinger was enrolled at the University of Michigan and studying cancer biology, in which he eventually earned an advanced degree. During his studies, he was introduced to Social Dynamics by Jordan Harbinger. Since both AJ and Jordan were attending the University of Michigan, they worked on social experiments on campus. AJ discovered he was innately charismatic and took to social dynamics and coaching others naturally. He enjoyed coaching others in improving their social skills and watching them succeed.
With their new found expertise, AJ and Jordan started to help men who were struggling with dating and other relationships in his spare time. Jordan and AJ started the Pickup Podcast, which turned into a hit. AJ and Jordan were being asked by more and more guys for advice and for coaching in the basic social skills.
Jordan began searching for more data and information on social dynamics, and that led him to meet Johnny Dzubak and Alex Weber, who teach in the field of Social Dynamics. Consequently, The Art of Charm was founded in 2007.
Because of the success of “Pickup Podcast,” SiriusXM Satellite Radio approached The Art of Charm in 2008 with an offer of hosting a weekly gig called “Game On.” It was vastly popular. All of this demand on his time caused Jordan to quit his Wall Street job and turn to teaching social dynamics full-time.
What initially started off as a part-time, spare-time venture has turned into a highly successful business.
